From Study to Practice
For years, Dialekt existed as an idea. A study of how contemporary furniture could be shaped through local production, honest materials and emerging design voices.
During 3 Days of Design, that study took physical form.
Alongside the festival, we opened our permanent showroom in Vesterbro, creating a place where our collection can be experienced through material, scale and light. The space reflects the same approach as the objects themselves. Crafted from local materials and left intentionally simple, allowing the collection to speak for itself.
Presented throughout the showroom were the Tunnel Bed Frame, Surface Bed Frame, Void Shelf, and new works that continue our study of Soft Brutalism.
The opening marked the beginning of a new chapter for Dialekt. One that continues to be shaped close to home, together with the people who make every object possible.
